We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our client's financial operations in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting functions, implement efficient processes, and ensure compliance with financial standards. Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the monthly and annual financial close processes, including account reconciliations, analysis, and the preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise billing operations, accounts receivable collections, accounts payable processing, and vendor payments.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Record and reconcile credit card transactions while maintaining organized supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and direct treasury functions to ensure appropriate spending and liquidity.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and collaborate with external partners to facilitate tax return filings.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and activity summaries to support departmental and organizational decision-making.
• Generate ad hoc reports as requested by leadership to provide insights into financial performance.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve accounting issues and streamline financial processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage Intacct for data entry, invoicing, and reporting preferred.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and produce insightful financial reports.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on meeting critical deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
