    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Louisville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a direct impact on business operations.

     

    You will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements

    + Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

    + Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    + Support external audits and coordinate with auditors

    + Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)

    + Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role

    + Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Excel

    + Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

    + Excellent communication and organizational abilities
