Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves managing essential accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This company really is looking for an organized individual who has strong tenure. This is a direct hire position with standard business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00 PM-5:00 PM. This is an in office position.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner to maintain smooth operations.

• Manage accounts payable and ensure all payments are processed correctly.

• Oversee accounts receivable, including verifying and recording incoming payments.

• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting-related issues.

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.

• Provide general support to the accounting team to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

• High level of accuracy and efficiency in managing financial tasks.
