Description

Bridget Killen at Robert Half is working with a highly respected non-profit organization in Albany, OR that is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team! If you have experience in reconciliations, financial statements, and general ledger management—and are passionate about supporting non-profits—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

+ Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements in alignment with non-profit accounting practices.

+ Oversee and manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and financial adjustments.

+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

+ Collaborate to ensure compliance with non-profit financial reporting standards and guidelines.

Requirements

+ Proven expertise in reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and general ledger work.

+ Experience working in non-profit accounting is highly preferred.

+ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
