Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial operations by managing invoice coding, data entry, and reporting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and accounting systems to contribute to a dynamic organization in the restaurant and catering industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify the accuracy of invoice coding to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage data entry for invoice discrepancies and resolve issues as needed.

• Generate ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making and operational needs.

• Collaborate with external accounting and payroll teams to maintain smooth workflows.

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to process accounts payable transactions efficiently.

• Monitor and process ACH payments to vendors in a timely manner.

• Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and resolving any discrepancies.

• Support accrual accounting processes to maintain accurate financial records. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms.

• Strong understanding of invoice coding and accrual accounting principles.

• Familiarity with ADP and ACH payment processing.

• Ability to generate accurate financial reports and handle data entry tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
