This is a HYBRID role in Cedar Rapids, IA - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service to clients worldwide, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and fostering strong relationships. This is a long-term contract position where you will focus on maintaining current clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to understand market pricing trends and secure competitive sales.

• Meet or exceed sales and capture rate goals established by management.

• Review and validate customer purchase orders to ensure compliance with standard and negotiated terms.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by engaging with them before and after sales.

• Identify opportunities to broker deals that strengthen customer relationships and maximize sales potential.

Requirements • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of motivation.

• Proven capability to deliver exceptional and responsive customer support.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with customer portals, quoting processes, and market pricing dynamics is a plus. TalentMatch®
