Senior Accountant
Austin, TX (On-site)
A well-established, family-owned investment and asset management firm in Austin is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of accounting across multiple entities spanning real estate, restaurant, and retail.
What You’ll Do:
+ Full-cycle accounting for 7–10 active entities
+ Process 50+ checks/week, 20+ wires/month, and handle AP/ACH
+ Month-end close, accruals, journal entries, and general ledger
+ Intercompany transfers and payroll journal entries
+ Liaise with third-party tax provider and assist with lender reporting
+ Work closely with CFO and a small, collaborative team
Must-Have Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of senior accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
+ Strong QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise skills (ready on Day 1)
+ Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
+ Multi-entity accounting experience
+ Ability to work independently with minimal training
+ Comfortable in a small office and family-business culture
Nice to Haves:
+ Experience with real estate, restaurants, or CAM accounting
+ Background in construction or loan-based financial reporting

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior accounting or full-charge bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, with the ability to hit the ground running.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and analyze data effectively.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities in diverse industries.
• Strong ability to work independently and adapt to a small business environment.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
• Knowledge of real estate, restaurant, or retail accounting is a plus.
• Previous exposure to construction or loan-based financial reporting is desirable.
