Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join a dedicated non-profit team. In this in-office role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing payroll, and supporting administrative functions. Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including processing over 100 invoices weekly, matching, coding to general ledger accounts, and issuing checks.

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable by sending statements, reconciling payments, and processing over 50 transactions monthly.

• Oversee full-cycle payroll for approximately 70 employees, including benefits coordination, tax payments, and compliance reporting.

• Support human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining accurate personnel records.

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end close processes and preparation of financial reports.

• Provide administrative support for various projects and operational needs as assigned.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold integrity in all accounting and administrative activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.

• At least 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with a focus on detail orientation.

• Proficiency in accounts reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
