Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Thorofare, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing cash applications, chargebacks, and other critical accounts receivable functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in accounting systems while contributing to the success of a wholesale distribution company.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile cash applications to ensure accurate and timely posting of payments.

• Investigate and resolve chargebacks, discrepancies, and deductions in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve accounts receivable processes.

• Utilize accounting software, ERP systems, and CRM tools to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and cash activity for management review.

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with payment terms and address overdue balances.

• Assist in month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and supporting audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all accounts receivable activities.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to invoices and payments. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on cash applications and chargebacks.

• Proficiency in working with accounting software systems, ERP platforms, and CRM tools.

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, billing functions, and cash handling procedures.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and customers.

• Familiarity with Epic Software, ADP financial tools, or similar systems is a plus.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
