Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to oversee and optimize the delivery process, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. In this role, you will coordinate outbound client shipments, manage inbound international deliveries, resolve shipment exceptions, and foster strong relationships with logistics providers—all while driving efficiency and cost savings initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provider Relationship Management
+ Oversee day-to-day relationships with logistics providers, driving service excellence and vendor performance.
+ Maintain and track KPI metrics, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to enhance processes.
+ Conduct root cause analyses for process issues and recommend corrective action plans to address gaps or leverage opportunities.
+ Adjust and optimize process flows based on internal protocols and evolving client needs.
+ Negotiate transportation rates and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and minimize costs.
Customer Delivery Coordination
+ Manage communications for quoting, dispatching, shipment tracking, and exception resolution for client deliveries.
+ Organize and coordinate premium “White Glove” deliveries with precision and attention to client requirements.
+ Oversee international Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring compliance with import regulations.
Inbound & International Shipment Management
+ Coordinate inbound transportation of finished goods, providing accurate delivery tracking updates to stakeholders.
+ Ensure all shipment records are updated in systems such as Work-Relay (Salesforce) and Navision (ERP).
Process Optimization
+ Lead and implement improvements to logistics workflows to reduce shipment exceptions and enhance overall efficiency.
+ Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and provide support as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a related role.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance metrics for process improvement.
+ Proficient in logistics software (e.g., ERP and tracking tools) and adept at managing vendor relationships.
+ Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
+ Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs compliance is a plus.
