Description
Robert Half's real estate client is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join their finance team. If you're passionate about maintaining financial order and playing a key role in a company's success, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
As the Bookkeeper, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our client's financial records. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks that keep business running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
+ Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
+ Reconciling bank statements and other financial reports.
+ Managing journal entries and general ledger activities.
+ Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.).
+ Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
+ Handling payroll processing and related tax filings.
+ Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
+ Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
+ Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
+ Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and procedures.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
+ Solid understanding of debits and credits.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
+ Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
