Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining effective communication with clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and a commitment to delivering timely and precise results. Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices and statements with accuracy and timeliness to ensure proper billing.

• Process incoming payments and post transactions in the accounting system efficiently.

• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on collections to maintain positive client relationships.

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable processes effectively.

• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment issues in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

• Maintain organized records of transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments to address billing inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable activities and highlight areas requiring attention.

• Support the overall accounting functions by contributing to process improvements.

Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and a strong understanding of accounting functions.

• Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections.

• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial transactions.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

• Familiarity with standard accounting practices and regulations.
