Description
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Credit Card Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee credit card expense management, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to support accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Process credit card applications, verifications, approvals, and rejections in accordance with company policies.
+ Reconcile credit card transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
+ Monitor and manage credit card chargebacks, fraud investigations, and disputes.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to credit card activities, including billing and payment issues.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements, industry regulations, and company policies regarding credit card processing.
+ Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and account management.
+ Provide top-notch customer service by addressing client and account holder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
+ A minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit card operations, accounting, or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of credit card processes, rules, regulatory requirements, and fraud prevention.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
+ Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role, with a focus on financial operations or credit management.
• Proficiency in using accounting software systems and financial tools.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes, billing functions, and check processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience with compliance practices and the ability to create and refine internal procedures.
• Capability to handle inbound calls and manage vendor relations professionally.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
