We are offering an exciting opportunity for an In-House Counsel with a client within the real estate industry. This position is located outside of Cincinnati and will be on-site

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all commercial real estate transactions

• Draft and negotiate terms for leases and purchase contracts

• Conduct legal analysis for parcel splits

• Provide legal advice on commercial real estate matters

• Maintain accurate records of all real estate transactions and contracts

• Handle legal issues related to commercial real estate

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all legal aspects of real estate transactions are handled efficiently

Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Must be a member in good standing of the Bar.

• Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate law is required.

• Prior experience working as an in-house counsel within the real estate industry will be highly valued.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

• Excellent negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.

• High level of detail orientation and confidentiality is crucial in this role.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.

• Knowledge of current industry legal standards and corporate governance regulations.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• High degree of detail orientation, integrity, and gravitas.

• Excellent judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.

• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.

• High comprehension of legal procedures and documentation.
