As a **Security Officer - Hospital Rounds** in **Durham, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
