    Position Description:

    Are you ready to take the lead in modernizing content management systems and shaping digital strategies for a forward-thinking agency? We're seeking a seasoned System Administrator, ideally with Drupal development experience to join our dynamic team on an exciting new project.

    This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain Linux-based servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

    • Develop, support, and administer Drupal-based websites, applying best practices for security, caching, and configuration.

    • Execute command line operations and create scripts to enhance system efficiency and minimize errors.

    • Migrate and maintain websites on the Acquia Cloud Platform, resolving security and functionality issues.

    • Collaborate with development teams to support and enhance Drupal applications, including sandbox virtual machines and module updates.

    • Monitor systems for security threats, configure CDN and Web Application Firewalls, and implement solutions to prevent attacks.

    • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, and provide technical support to team members and stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

    • Ensure compliance with Federal Government standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Drupal development and integration.

    • Provide mentorship and training to other team members, as needed

    • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and management.

    • Prepare and actively participate in internal and external workgroup meetings, project team meetings, and client requirements sessions to understand business needs while striving to improve and innovate existing processes

    • Construct well-written solution communications that are concise and accurate for delivery to the client, as required

    • Communicate effectively across management levels and functional teams

    • Deliver briefings to customers, from the technical level to senior leadership, as required

    • Analyze/troubleshoot/resolve complex production defects

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding complex technical issues or business strategy

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    • Extensive experience in Linux system administration

    • Strong understanding of ISO, FED RAMP, and Federal Government security standards.

    • Proficiency in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and command line execution.

    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

    • Proven experience working within the Federal Government space.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Demonstrate positive interpersonal and leadership skills (collaborative, personable, team oriented)

    • Strong understanding of configuration management, source management, testing, data management and migration, and federal security standards and practices

    • Ability to effectively translate technical details across functional areas and to tailor responses to the audience

    • Be detail oriented, flexible, proactive, and have ability to multi-task to quickly adapt to changing client priorities and respond to ad hoc requests

    • Able to calmly respond to crises (mitigate, resolve, prioritize, or escalate as needed)

    Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

    Experience with Drupal Development

     

    Experience with Acquia Cloud Platform (Classic and Next) is a bonus.

     

    Experience working with Azure DevOps Boards

     

    Experience with Percussion Rythmyx

     

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,700.00 - $137,100.00.
