Job Description:
This is a TCT position at MaineDOT’s Fleet Services headquarters building in Augusta. This position will be a part of the M5 Administration and Inventory Management team and will assist the M5 System Manager with system administration as well as support Inventory and Fuel Control efforts. This position reviews and analyzes data using moderately complex computer-aided programs and software packages and will meet with members of management and others regarding technical problems, complaints, and requests in order to resolve issues. Duties will include but are not limited to user account maintenance, opening and closing work orders, reviewing work orders for accuracy and completeness, verifying parts and accessories inventory, work order and inventory data review and analysis, payroll review, fuel card creation, and other user and system management duties.
Additional duties may include operating heavy motorized equipment. Work is performed under limited supervision.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Must possess 2 years of experience/knowledge in general maintenance and construction industry and/or experience with inventory and data management.
Licensing/Registration/Certification Requirements:(These must be met by all employees prior to attaining permanent status in this class).
Valid State of Maine Commercial Driver ’s License.
