AUTOMOTIVE FLEET TECHNICIAN

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Sunrise Transportation Company is looking to add a full-time Fleet Technician with experience working on diesel/gasoline engines. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections and repairs.

What we’ll trust you with:

+ Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing gasoline and diesel engines along with air brake systems

+ Performing preventative inspections and general maintenance including fluid changes, brakes, and tires

+ Preparing units for IDOT inspections

+ Checking and maintaining bus safety systems such as 8-way lighting, stop arm, and cross walk

+ Camera and GPS systems maintenance

+ Maintaining and processing work orders

What matters most for this role:

+ You have a strong knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance

+ Completed a High School diploma/GED

+ Proven experience working as an automotive technician or similar

+ Have the willingness to work in a diverse organization with many high-pressure situations

+ You learn quickly and have professional written and oral communication skills
