Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer Professional Associate.
Responsibilites:
Develop design drawings and specifications for new SCADA systems to meet client requirements. Evaluate various SCADA system upgrade paths (both software and hardware) and recommend solutions to clients. Evaluate and recommend different instrumentation solutions for best fit for a given design challenge. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project design team develop bid drawing packages for clients. Collaborate with project process engineers in developing a projects control narrative and loop descriptions. Design and implement SCADA HMI screen programming according to a project’s control narrative. Develop PLC programming according to a control narrative (rock well, modicon, siemens specifically). Field commission programmed SCADA systems working in coordination with contractors, electricians, client staff and operators.
Telecommuting / remote work from anywhere in the US is allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Controls Engineering. Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Control Narratives for process systems. Water and Wastewater Industry and Processes. SCADA programming platforms including Wonderware and FactoryTalk. PLC programming platform Rockwell automation.
