Are you an experienced early childhood professional with a passion for positive behavior support and classroom coaching? Acelero, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Behavior Guidance Coordinator to support teaching staff and ensure excellence in classroom management, compliance, and individualized guidance strategies. In this role, you'll collaborate with education and mental health teams to implement research-based practices that help every child thrive—advancing our mission to eliminate the gaps between young children’s potential and their success in school and life.

Your Role:
The Behavior Guidance Coordinator is responsible for utilizing management, monitoring, and instructional strategies to ensure both compliance and excellence among teaching staff. This position will serve as a support for the education team, providing guidance and support to his/her team and classroom teachers to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal licensing and standard regulations.
What You’ll Do:
+ Support all staff and center functions to ensure full compliance with policies and procedures, including but not limited to effective practices in health and safety and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, local and state licensing regulations, and overall center functioning.
+ Support teachers to implement positive guidance strategies with fidelity, including understanding child outcomes data and using data to strengthen the strategies to individualize modeling strategies in the classroom based on observations, classroom trends, Individual Action Plans, guidance from education leadership and teacher request.
+ Collaborate and coordinate with education leadership and mental health teams.
+ Conduct quarterly action plan reviews for all assigned centers.
+ Conduct regular classroom observations as needed or requested.
+ Support education leadership to develop and implement professional development in areas related to child behavior, including but not limited to Behavior Work Groups and In Service training.
+ Stay current with research on educational best practices.
+ Remain reliable in tools and practices including but not limited to CLASS, Pyramid Model, Second Step, LENA, TPOT, and TIPTOS.
+ Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required.
What You Bring:
+ Associate’s degree in a related field required; Early Childhood certification or credits a plus.
+ Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a classroom.
+ Experience working in a Head Start program required.
+ Bilingual is a plus.
+ Must have CPR and First Aid certification or required to obtain within the first year of employment.
+ Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

When : Summer 2025
Where : Milwaukee, WI; Local travel required and long-distance travel as needed.
