Job Description

Manages, plans, organizes and evaluates the staff and activities of the preventative maintenance program for Clinical Engineering equipment. Provides technical support and develops and maintains policies and procedures for the department.

Job Responsibility

+ Provides leadership to Clinical Engineering team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.

+ Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.

+ Manages all installations, renovations, and expansions regarding Clinical Engineering equipment to ensure proper operation of the technology.

+ Ensures the efficient and technical operation, maintenance and compliance of all dialysis units.

+ Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff.

+ Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.

+ Recommends, implements and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives and budget.

+ Reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.

+ Ensures implementation, and evaluation of operating policies, procedures and processes.

+ Evaluates equipment and recommends maintenance, repair, upgrade or replacement.

+ Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations.

Job Qualification

+ Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

+ 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $98,300-$170,100/year
