Lithia & Driveway | Print Shop Technician
The Print Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of printing projects. This position requires initiative and a strong sense of time management. The Print Technician is responsible for reviewing orders as they are received, producing them to the specifications given by Project Managers and operating the equipment needed for production of those items. Additional duties may also include cutting by hand or by machine, assembly of printed pages into spiral bound books, adhering vinyl posters to foam boards or sandwich board stands and more.
Compensation: $20-23hr DOE
Responsibilities
+ Responsible for core production on the Xerox Versant 180 press
+ Responsible for core production of all wide format items
+ Cut, package and ship all orders
+ Maintain weekly print schedule
+ Accurately track jobs from inception to completion
+ Finish or assemble small production jobs of signs and labels
+ Hand trim material with rotary or guillotine cutters
+ Hand assemble individual components with precision
+ Assess finished products for Quality Control
+ Organize, file, proofread and QC production artwork
+ Provide solutions and ideas to solve special project requirements
+ Other duties as assigned

+ An aptitude for quality handcrafting.
+ Experience working with Photoshop, In Design and Adobe Illustrator is required
+ Experience working with digital printing equipment preferred but not required
+ Preferred experience with reading work orders, packaging, vinyl application, digital print press, or working with any general manufacturing equipment: folder, drill, laminator, cutters, etc.
