    Job Purpose

     

    Provide day-to-day support for all MCA-SPR (the Company) Human Resources (HR) functions

     

    including payroll & benefits administration, site communications, training and recruitment.

     

    Ensures Company human resources policies, processes and procedures are properly

     

    communicated and administered across the Company

    Principal Accountabilities

    + Communicate and interpret HR benefits, policies processes and procedures for employees and retirees of the Company.

    + Serve as local HR contact for employees, retirees and plan vendors regarding benefit plans and programs which include claims resolution and eligibility updates/issues.

    + Ensure Company employees are formally recognized as they reach service milestonesand ensure awards/gifts marking each milestone are presented timely to the milestone.

    + Manage and provide support for FMLA and other leaves, communicating with employee on their status, providing necessary paperwork, forwarding information to relevant plant and corporate personnel, and managing “return-to-work protocols” (e.g.,physicals.doctor releases, etc.)

    + Assists employees with employment verifications, personnel actions and/or employee status changes.

    + Serve as liaison with the MCA corporate payroll function to ensure all Company employees are paid on schedule and in accordance with MCA corporate and the Company’s payroll policies. Provide guidance for bi-weekly and special payrolls as needed. Assist in the overall remuneration process. Ensure employee cost centers are properly maintained in the Company’s payroll and information system(s).

    + Serve as Company’s liaison with all other MCA corporate HR functions in the development and administration of current and future HR services and initiatives.

    + Coordinate the Company’s annual performance development review (PDR) cycles and assist in ensuring all Company employee PDR’s are properly completed, communicated to the employee and subsequently filed with the employee’s records. Prepare and populate spreadsheets used to apply PDR ratings to annual wage/salary increases.

    + Prepare and populate spreadsheets used to calculate the Company’s annual short-term incentive (bonus) payouts for employees.

    + Initiate and coordinate Company recruiting via MCA’s internal talent acquisition functions. Coordinate the candidate interview process, create offer letters for selected candidates and manage communications between the Company & the candidate.

    + Initiate and coordinate the Company’s employee engagement process throughout theironboarding journey and ensure all requisite onboarding documentation is completed and filed.

    + Track monthly completion of corporate compliance training (e.g., SAI Global training)and report to management as an HR KPI. Communicate with Company employees onnew training assignments, completion tracking and past-due status.

    + The employee is responsible for conducting their activities in strict compliance with allCompany HSES, Internal Control, and Integrated Management Systems requirements and in strict compliance with all MCG corporate policies, processes, procedures and training requirements.

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or at least 8 years’ experience as a Human Resources professional.

    + Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is desirable, but not required.

    + Professional Certification (SPHR or PHR) desirable but not required.

    + Previous HRIS experience - WorkDay preferred

    + Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

    + Must demonstrate attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    + Must possess strong interpersonal skills.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with employees, business leaders and customers.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

    Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

    + **The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $116,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.**
