    Requirements/Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required

     

    Medical Assistant Certification required or the ability and willingness to obtain from one of the following recognized organizations prior to hire: NHA, NCCT, AAMA, NCMA, AMCA, NAHP

     

    BLS certification approved by AHA required

     

    At least 12 months of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

     

    Ability to take vital signs and report abnormal findings

     

    Phlebotomy and EKG, required

     

    Proficient knowledge of medical terminology

     

    Knowledge of electronic medical record EMR systems, preferred
