Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP EDI Business Analyst who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced **Sr. SAP EDI Business Analyst** to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 10–12 years of expertise in **SAP EDI** , particularly within the **Transportation & Logistics** domain. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic liaison between business and technology teams, driving process optimization, seamless system integration, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

+ Analyze and optimize business processes through SAP EDI solutions to improve operational efficiency.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.

+ Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for SAP EDI processes and workflows.

+ Provide expert-level support for SAP EDI implementation and integration projects.

+ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous improvement.

+ Lead workshops and training sessions to promote user adoption and understanding of SAP EDI tools.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices through regular assessments.

+ Oversee test planning and execution to validate system functionality and performance.

+ Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

+ Drive initiatives to enhance data accuracy, streamline data flow, and support strategic decision-making.

+ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform continuous improvement efforts.

+ Foster a collaborative, innovative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

+ 10–12 years of hands-on experience with SAP EDI, with a strong focus on Transportation & Logistics.

+ Proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

+ Demonstrated success in leading SAP EDI implementations and integrations.

+ Solid project management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time.

+ Commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering business value through technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in SD module is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
