Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our Developer Platform Experience team. This role requires a strong background in software engineering, DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and optimizing our platform to ensure it meets the needs of our organization. Your work will directly impact the productivity of our developers by abstracting repetitive tasks, managing infrastructure, and ensuring robust security measures.

Skills Required:

+ Build backend services using Java.

+ Develop and optimize automation scripts and tools to streamline development workflows, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall efficiency

+ Design and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like Kubernetes and AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness

+ Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and reliable deployments.

+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability

Salary and Other Compensation:

This role is accepting application through 5/15/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $49,000-$107,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
