    Job Description

    Our Company:

    SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Supervisor.

    + Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Data Entry, Refill, Customer Service, and Narcotics departments.

    + Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties, delegated tasks, and proper cut-off times and deadlines.

    + Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

    + Communicate any staffing needs or issues with the Data Entry Supervisor.

    + Investigate and resolve problems and issues related to orders.

    + Ensure that specialized queues are maintained (e.g., Pending, Backup).

    + Provide on-the-job training for new hires when necessary.

    + Stay informed by attending department in-services and keeping up with changes in local, state, federal, and company laws and regulations.

    + Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.

    + Complete daily tasks such as OTC Report, Duplicate Report, etc.

    + Perform other duties as requested.

     

    Shift: 2:30pm-11pm Monday through Friday or 2:30pm-11pm Every Saturday and Sunday (3 week days for full-time)

    Qualifications:

    + Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy.

    + Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is desired.

    + Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.

    + Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.

    + Must be able to multitask and be reliable.

    + Familiarity with SIG codes.

    + Quick typing skills.

    + Computer literate; knowledge of Frameworks LTC system is a plus.
