    Summary of Role: The Sr. Director, Channel Sales Leadership will be a key leader in GF’s Go-to-Market (GTM) organization, reporting into the Customers & Markets team. This role will be responsible for leading the U.S. Channel Sales function and serving as a global overlay to support channel growth and revenue enablement in other regions. The role will focus on strengthening channel partnerships, driving pipeline growth, and ensuring alignment to global design win (DWIN), Tapeout, and revenue goals.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Lead and manage the U.S. Channel Sales team to drive partner growth across all U.S.-based channel accounts.

    + Act as the global channel overlay supporting regions outside the U.S., ensuring alignment to enterprise-wide DWIN, Tapeout , and revenue targets.

    + Develop and execute a channel partner strategy that delivers incremental design wins and pipeline expansion for GlobalFoundries.

    + Identify , recruit, and enable high-performing channel partners and resellers to increase GF’s market footprint and accelerate growth.

    + Serve as the senior point of contact for key partner executives; cultivate CXO-level relationships to deepen collaboration and alignment.

    + Partner with GTM leadership to align on channel incentives, marketing programs, partner enablement, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

    + Track and close revenue gaps by driving strategic channel actions, collaborating across regions and sales teams.

    + Ensure consistent global execution of channel initiatives, including partner performance metrics, sales promotions, and best practices.

    Other Responsibilities:

    + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

    + Other duties as assigned by manager.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Business, or related field.

    + 15+ years of experience in direct and indirect sales, with a proven track record in partner/channel management.

    + 7+ years of experience leading sales teams, preferably in the semiconductor or technology industry.

    + Strong executive presence and experience influencing at the XT level.

    + Demonstrated ability to drive global alignment and cross-functional collaboration.

    + Experience developing and executing scalable channel strategies that deliver measurable business impact.

    + Track record of recruiting and mentoring teams and diverse talent, ground up

    + Travel - Up to 30%

    + Fluency in English & German Language – written & verbal.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Education - Master’s degree or MBA.

    + Familiarity with global channel ecosystems and semiconductor go-to-market models.

    + Deep understanding of channel sales motions, partner incentives, and regional market dynamics.

     

    Expected Salary Range

     

    $182,500.00 - $292,200.00

     

    The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
