Veterinary Product Advisor – (Hybrid | St. Louis, MO)
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Veterinary Product Advisor** to support the sale and education of Veterinary products. In this dynamic role, you’ll engage veterinary professionals and consumers alike, delivering expert nutritional advice, resolving product inquiries, and supporting Purina’s mission to improve pet health through science-backed nutrition.
**Location** : Downtown St. Louis, MO (Hybrid after training)

_The anticipated wage for this position is between_ **_$20_** _and $_ **_22.48/hr_** _. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors._
HYBRID SCHEDULE:
• First 90 Days (Training): 100% Onsite | Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
• Post-Training: Hybrid | Mon–Fri | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM CST
• Hybrid Rotation: Every 6–7 weeks, return onsite for a full in-office work week
Key Responsibilities:
_Veterinary & Customer Support_
• Serve as the primary contact for veterinarians and pet owners via phone, email, chat, and social platforms.
• Communicate detailed nutritional and technical information about Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets.
• Support veterinary product recommendations and provide expert guidance on dietary management of pets with specific health concerns.
_Sales Enablement_
• Promote and educate on the clinical advantages of Purina products compared to competitors.
• Support field sales teams with product information, promotional details, and customer insights.
• Encourage veterinarians and pet owners to utilize Purina’s online store and professional programs.
_Issue Resolution & Service Excellence_
• Manage customer inquiries related to orders, returns, refunds, delivery, and account access.
• Investigate and resolve product complaints and service concerns.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
_Education & Field Engagement_
• Attend select veterinary conferences and collaborate on product showcases.
• Participate in biannual field visits with sales representatives.
• Stay current on research, pricing, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of customer service experience required
• Experience in veterinary settings, animal science, or pet nutrition highly preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
• Comfort discussing technical and scientific concepts in easy-to-understand language
• Typing proficiency and experience using CRM or customer service systems is a plus
• **Must be comfortable in a pet-friendly office environment**
Education:
• High school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• OR 4 years of customer service/business experience in lieu of a diploma

**Pay Details:** $22.48 per hour
