    Employment Terms: This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional position in Computer Sciences Division that reports to the Program Director – Computer Programming.

     

    Salary : Targeted salary is paid in a lump sum bases on contact hours taught.

     

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in field and 18 graduate hours in field; OR Master’s degree in field. Applicable certifications directly related to CIS field, and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Ph.D. in Engineering , Computer Science, or a related field

    + Strong background in mathematics, artificial intelligence or machine learning

    + Demonstrated ability to write and publish academic journal papers

    + Postsecondary teaching experience in Programming and Database

    + Practical experience as a Full Stack Developer

     

    Job Description : The instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering lecture and/or lab course materials in engineering, programming, database, and web development subjects. This includes both general core and advanced technical courses. The role requires the development of detailed lesson plans, facilitation of student learning, and ongoing assessment of student progress toward course objectives. The instructor must demonstrate strong subject-matter expertise—especially in mathematics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and full stack development—and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical content. Experience with curriculum development and scholarly writing is highly valued.

    Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for Computer Science courses

    Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports

    Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately

    Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts

    May be required to act as a Campus Security Authority; completing all responsibilities and trainings that go along with the initiative
