    Job Description:

    _About the Role:_

     

    As a Progressive Maintenance (PM) Lead, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Carrollton, TX, plant, a manufacturer of quality refrigerated dough. The Progressive Maintenance (PM) Lead supports the progressive maintenance pillar and is responsible for activities related to maintenance planning & scheduling (MP&S), breakdown elimination (BDE), storeroom, planned maintenance optimization and autonomous maintenance (AM) support.

    _You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:_

    + Supports the implementation and sustainment of the PM Pillar daily management systems (DMS) for the site.

    + Conducts maintenance training on PM processes including breakdown elimination (BDE) or root cause analysis (RCA), maintenance planning & scheduling (MP&S) and defect handling (DH).

    + Follows up with operators to ensure that defects are handled in alignment with standards.

    + Ensures PM processes are executed and sustained by tracking and reporting PM metrics.

    + Performs PM audits, as required.

    + Participates in and/or leads Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings at shift and line level.

    + Engages in plant continuous improvement efforts by identifying and escalating improvement opportunities, as well as participating in and/or leading process improvement teams.

    + Supports technicians in identifying and solving problems that cause breakdowns.

    + Proactively communicates necessary information to diverse stakeholders, responding to requests, building reports, and participating in problem solving methods.

    + Develops and regularly analyzes appropriate metrics (breakdowns, storeroom cycle accuracy, work order schedule compliance) to govern system health.

    + Interacts with Field Pillar Leaders to drive plant performance and implement best practices.

    _Important Details:_

    + This is a full-time, on-site role on First Shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts.

    _You’ll fit right in if you have:_

    + High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management or a related field is a plus.

    + Three to five years of supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of electrical drive/controls, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulic systems related to production and facilities equipment maintenance.

    + Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs preferred.

    + Understands the principles of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Experience with SAP preferred.

    + Ability to utilize shop floor data collection systems.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.
