    Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire position with a 6-month duration. This role involves performing electrical troubleshooting on electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers within an industrial setting.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform electrical troubleshooting on various industrial equipment, including electric arc furnaces and pneumatic systems.

    + Handle motor controls, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and DC controls.

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

    + Perform minimal PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley Micrologic systems.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and installations as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

    + Experience with motor controls, both VFD and DC controlled.

    + Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Possession of an electrical journeyman's license is beneficial.

    + Experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates on a rotating DuPont schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and vice versa. Training will take place during the day for up to 3 months before transitioning to rotating shifts. The work environment is very dirty, with uniforms provided and a locker available for storage. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses will be provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.92 - $27.92/hr.
