    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will perform timely equipment change-overs, assist in equipment maintenance and rebuilding activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform timely equipment change-overs as required by the production schedule.

    + Assist in maintaining an established preventative maintenance schedule on assigned equipment.

    + Participate in equipment rebuilding activities and execute projects as directed.

    + Make timely repairs as directed by the engineering department.

    + Assist operators with equipment set-ups to ensure proper functionality.

    + Requisition parts, components, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance.

    + Provide training to plant personnel in equipment and process control.

    + Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.

    + Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher a plus.

    + Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

    + Ability to work overtime as required.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing plant operations.

    + Troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems.

    + Demonstrated ability to limit downtime due to breakdowns.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines.

    + Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant and perform strenuous physical tasks.

    + Capability to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate controlled environment with 12-hour shifts, guaranteed at least 48 hours per week. One opening is available on the second shift (Monday to Thursday, 6am-6pm) with training on the first shift (6am-6pm). Safety shoes are required, but they do not have to be steel-toed. You will receive a flame-resistant uniform and safety glasses, and must wear 100% cotton clothing under the uniform.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
