    Job Title: Technician / General Laborer

     

    Pay: $19-$23/HR

     

    Shift: 1st shift, Monday- Friday 7AM-3/4PM (OT Required)

     

    Experience Required: Demolition, Restoration, Construction General Labor, Mitigation

     

    Back Ground (Lifetime) Required, Drug Test Required ( NoTHC)

     

    On Call Rotation (1x per 6 weeks)

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic mitigation department as a Technician. You will work closely with the lead technician, assisting in tearouts and performing general labor. You will start your day by reporting to the office, and then travel to job sites in a company vehicle. This full-time position guarantees 40 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    + Respond to and lead emergency losses.

    + Perform emergency water extraction and drying services.

    + Conduct demolition and cleaning tasks.

    + Inspect properties for damage and complete specific drying processes for water, fire, and contents-damaged properties.

    + Set up and take down drying equipment, and monitor temperatures, relative humidity, and specific humidity using moisture detection equipment.

    + Extract water from flooded areas.

    + Remove demolition or damaged items such as flooring, drywall, cabinets, and furniture.

    + Participate in on-call rotation.

    + Follow directions effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of construction experience.

    + 1+ years of customer service experience or similar role.

    + Strong initiative and go-getter mentality.

    + Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technology experience is a plus.

    + Clean driving record is desirable.

    Work Environment

     

    Technicians typically work with a lead, but may join a larger team for bigger jobs. A self-starter and go-getter attitude is essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30/4:00 pm, with on-call duties one night a week and one weekend every fourth weekend. Additional incentives are available for on-call responsibilities.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
