    Join a dynamic team at the forefront of solar energy infrastructure. We’re seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators with a strong knowledge in civil or solar site construction. This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals who thrive outdoors, value safety, and are ready to contribute to high-impact renewable energy projects across Eastern New York.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, and skid steers to move earth, dig trenches, and level ground.

    + Perform site preparation tasks such as backfilling, grading, concrete pouring, and foundation building.

    + Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.

    + Collaborate with foremen and crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards.

    + Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.

    What You Bring

    + 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in roadway, solar, or commercial site construction.

    + Proficiency in grading, GPS Dozer operation, and earthworks.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

    + OSHA 10 certification (required).

    + Willingness to perform general labor tasks and travel within Eastern NY.

    + Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.

    Work Environment

    + 100% outdoor work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, wind).

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM, with frequent Saturday work.

    + Overtime available: 2–20 hours/week depending on project needs.

    + Team sizes range from 2 to 10, reporting to a foreman or superintendent.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
