Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will direct warehouse workloads in preparing forms and coordinating the inbound and outbound movement of materials. You will collaborate with other warehouse personnel to recommend procedural changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Manage daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, packing, and palletizing products to ensure warehouse workloads run at full capacity.

+ Inspect materials produced to ensure quality and determine spacing requirements for storage. Schedule delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to achieve distribution objectives and meet customer requirements.

+ Monitor warehousing operations by tracking pounds per man-hour objectives, percent worked ahead of objectives, safety and quality objectives, and returns within three days.

+ Direct trucking and shipping operations, coordinate schedules, and make adjustments as needed.

+ Coordinate and review safety and environmental issues at all warehouse locations and ensure maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment.

+ Perform other job-related duties and special projects, including compiling reports and documentation for the Plant Manager.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm in a large, non-climate-controlled warehouse that can be chilly in the winter and hot in the summer. The environment may be dirty and loud due to steel work, providing an energetic atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59320.00 - $88980.00/yr.

- Competitive Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance- low cost comparatively to other companies in the area - Estimate - $58 per pay period for single, $119 per pay for employee + spouse, $179 per pay for family

- PTO plan - Start accruing hours from day 1 once direct - (.39 hours per pay period (81 hours 1-5 years - can carry over 40 hours) Increases once you hit the 5 year mark and 10 year mark.

- 401k match (3% - match 100%, next 2% - 50% match)
