    Job Description

    The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating the purchase of food items from suppliers to meet the needs of a restaurant, catering company, or other food service establishment. This role ensures quality, quantity, and price are optimized while adhering to budget constraints and maintaining inventory levels.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify and evaluate vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

    + Compare prices and negotiate contracts with suppliers.

    + Manage deliveries and ensure all supplies meet quality standards.

    + Monitor product quality and adhere to food safety standards.

    + Review invoices to ensure orders are accurate and complete.

    + Maintain inventory levels and optimize purchasing processes.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a hospital environment, working Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Flexibility is required as days and hours may vary depending on events.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Los Angeles,CA 90017.
