Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

This position is responsible for materials preparation and moving the raw material. The associate prepares the components for machinery by measuring small amounts of metals into small boxes and weighing them. They will have to load the material into barrels and ensure the product comes off the line. They will work closely with the operators until they are trained up and can be promoted to operators.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare materials by measuring and weighing small amounts of metals.

+ Load materials into barrels for processing.

+ Ensure the product is properly processed and comes off the line.

+ Collaborate with operators during the training period.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and machine operation.

+ Proficiency in inspection processes and using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to read and follow operation and production instructions.

+ Understanding of safe and proficient shop floor practices.

+ Team player mentality.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dirty setting without heating or cooling systems. You will be part of a small team, interacting primarily with a lead as there are currently 18 employees plant-wide.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.
