    Job Title: Electronic Test EngineerJob Description

     

    Join a pioneering R&D organization as an Electronic Test Engineer and play a crucial role in the development of a next-generation robotic platform that is set to transform the future of healthcare. This position involves working on complex electro-mechanical assemblies, contributing from prototype to verification builds within a regulated medical device development environment. Ideal for a hands-on engineer, this role demands proficiency in testing electronic printed circuit boards, debugging issues, performing soldering, mechanical reworks, constructing prototype cables, and updating eCAD part libraries.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate in the creation and refinement of test cases and environments.

    + Execute PCB tests for design verification and characterization.

    + Perform soldering reworks for prototype updates and test point harnessing.

    + Debug electronic issues and determine root causes.

    + Construct cables and harnesses for test fixtures and prototypes.

    + Support repairs and updates to existing prototype robotic systems.

    + Support documentation in accordance with EVR quality systems.

    + Maintain and update eCAD part libraries.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical engineering and hands-on testing experience.

    + Experience with electronic equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital voltmeters.

    + Skills in soldering, troubleshooting, and test documentation.

    + Experience with PCB rework, electronic testing, and debug.

    + Knowledge of digital communication protocols like SPI, UART, I2C, USB, and Ethernet.

    + Experience in medical device, aerospace, or heavily-regulated industries.

    + Familiarity with PCBA testing during official design verification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with eCAD tools such as Altium, Pads, OrCAD, and Eagle.

    + Understanding of analog and digital high-speed circuits.

    + Knowledge of motor actuation, including brushed, brushless, and servo motors.

    + Experience with DC/DC converters and analog circuits like sensors and amplifiers.

    + Familiarity with standards such as FDA, ISO13485, AS9100.

    Pay and Benefits
