Job Title: Aftermarket Logistics Specialist
Job Description
The Aftermarket Logistics Specialist provides vital support to the Aftermarket team, organizing and managing various activities and collaborating with teams to successfully complete company initiatives. This role emphasizes a positive and efficient approach in managing logistics and customer interactions.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure timely responses to customer emails and phone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate team members.
+ Research and resolve customer problems, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
+ Support all onsite Aftermarket team members with logistics and administrative tasks.
+ Provide back-up coverage for reception as needed.
+ Maintain neat and organized work areas and FAA Repair Station files and documents.
+ Generate and manage shipping documents, labels, and package tracking for Aftermarket orders and Repair Stations.
+ Ensure timely processing of outgoing shipments to meet customer expectations.
+ Compose and type miscellaneous correspondence, reports, faxes, files, and copies.
+ Track and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and coordination with suppliers and warehouses.
+ Ensure raw material levels are sufficient to support minimal quantities readily available.
+ Compile repair inventory counts and maintain adequate supply levels.
+ Purchase consumables, tools, and parts as necessary.
+ Provide timely updates to team members and management about the status of work being performed.
+ Maintain active communication with team members and management while addressing current and potential problems promptly.
+ Seek guidance and direction as necessary to perform duties effectively.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
+ Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to perform various support duties such as invoicing, typing, filing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and manufacturing software like Made 2 Manage.
+ Typing skills of 45-50 wpm.
+ Understanding and following work orders, shipping orders, process specifications, and FAA Regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous work-related customer service experience preferred.
+ Previous shipping and packaging experience preferred.
+ Experience with ERP/MRP software is a plus.

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to consistently communicate clearly in a friendly, professional manner, with physical abilities to sit, bend, stand, and reach for 8 hours. The candidate should be able to use hands and wrists for typing and lift up to 25 lbs. The environment is equipped with necessary technologies and tools to facilitate efficient logistics operations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
