    Job Title: CNC Operator

    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our dental supply company, which specializes in manufacturing various types of dental equipment for dental offices and dental schools. As a CNC Operator, you will work with small parts that require high precision and tight tolerances. You will be operating two types of Screw Machines: Star machines with Fanuc controls and Citizen machines with Mitsubishi controls. Master Cam is the programming software used for our CNC machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Work within tight tolerance ranges with a high level of precision and attention to detail.

    + Interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements.

    + Use inspection and gaging techniques with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, plug, and ring gages.

    + Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on Star and Citizen CNC Screw machines.

    + Understand the tooling required for CNC processes.

    + Have strong tool knowledge, blueprint reading, tolerance, and program understanding.

    + Perform work in a safe manner.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    + At least one year's experience in the operation of CNC Swiss Screw Machines (Mill or Lathe setup will be considered).

    + Knowledge of equipment operation routines, basic shop math, and precision measuring instruments (both manual and digital).

    + Good mechanical aptitude, machine debugging, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to stand and perform repetitive activities for sustained periods of time.

    + Proficiency in using personal computers, including Windows-based applications.

    Work Environment

     

    The shop is very clean and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. The work hours are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
