    Job Title: Clinical Research LiaisonJob Description

     

    We are seeking a Clinical Research Liaison with a minimum of one year of research experience to join our prestigious academic research institute. This role involves working closely with physicians on a variety of projects, including unfunded and non-clinical trial studies. You will also assist with administrative tasks and provide support in clinical settings.

    Responsibilities

    + Work directly with physicians on data collection, retrospective studies, and banking protocols.

    + Assist with administrative tasks for physicians and provide clinic support including scribing, attending patient visits, and reviewing/prepping new patient visits.

    + Enroll patients, obtain informed consent, and manage patient scheduling.

    + Conduct chart reviews and perform data entry using electronic data capture systems.

    + Coordinate clinical research and oncology studies, acting as a research or study coordinator.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of clinical research experience.

    + Comfortable interacting with physicians.

    + Experience with cancer medications and adverse event reporting using CTCAE 4.0.

    + Strong communication and writing skills.

    + Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.

    + Experience working independently as well as part of a team.

    + Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations.

    + Proficient in MS Office Suite.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Hematology experience preferred.

    Work Environment

    Work in a fast-paced environment on a large campus, primarily with the lymphoma team, which is the largest at the cancer center. The team includes 2 Project Managers, a Nurse Practitioner, 5 Clinical Research Nurses, 5 Clinical Research Coordinators, and 3 Research Assistants. Staff members are aligned with specific Principal Investigators, and a significant portion of the work involves CAR-T studies. The Cancer Center is renowned for its translational research and high-profile studies, backed by substantial grant funding from the National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
