Job Description

Warehouse associate that will perform duties to include picking, labeling, re-labeling, loading, unloading, receiving, and inspections of material and dunnage for shipping, receiving and storage in a fast spaced environment.

+ _Daily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment._

+ _Daily use of hand held RF scanner._

+ _Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions._

+ _Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S._

_Key responsibilities will include the following:_

+ _Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products._

+ _Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks._

+ _Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Verify Dunnage and count for shipments. Move material to proper area for storage._

+ _Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutions_

+ _Avoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation._

+ _Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard._

+ _Responsible for one's own work_

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

+ 2+ years of experience with powered industrial truck such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc.

+ 2+ years of warehouse experience

+ Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.

+ Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.

Preferred Skills

+ _Bilingual: English / Spanish_

+ Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency if required.

+ Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

**Hourly Compensation:** The U.S. base hourly wage for this full-time position is **$16.75** with an additional shift premium based on the assigned shift.
