Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jamaica/ Queens / New York site is looking for a new Air Warehouse Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

The warehouse agent is responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment.

The warehouse agent can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center.

Your Responsibilities

+ Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers.

+ Verify and receive materials into inventory

+ Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit

+ May also include palletizing and shrink-wrap.

+ Duties may include receiving, checking and storing

+ May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds

+ Use material handling Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse

+ Use material handling Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice

+ Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution

+ Works from pick sheet to pull product or supplies.

+ Check orders against pull sheets.

Your Skills and Experiences

+ High School or Technical degree

+ 1+ years of prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment

+ 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment

+ Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision

+ Must have the ability to report onsite 5 days per week and work a Flexible schedule

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
