Hourly pay rate: $22.00 to $24.00

Schedule: Nights 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Description

The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting products to customer locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Drive truck to established destination to load/ unload per customer requirements.

+ Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.

+ Maintain driver logs.

+ Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.

+ Remove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle.

+ Operate and maintain trucks.

+ Help, mentor, and train personnel.

+ Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Class A CDL License -No manual restriction

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ 1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required

+ Must be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.

Skills and Abilities

+ Learns from directions, observations, and mistakes and applies procedures using good judgment.

+ Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.

+ Works well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned.

+ Read and accurately interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and federal and state regulations.

+ Communicate professionally and effectively.

+ Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.

+ Flexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
