At Bigham Cable Construction, as an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the sharing management over assigned projects and ensure the accuracy, completeness, safety, and profitability of each.

At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of the telecommunications industry; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

What you’ll do as an Assistant Project Manager

+ Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project;• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance;• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project;• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project;

+ the ability to manage multiple projects to completion;

+ the ability to function effectively in a high-stress situation;

+ the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

+ To be 18 years of age or older

+ High School Diploma, GED equivalent and 2-3 years cable construction experience or landscaping, grading or trenching experience

+ Telecom cable construction and map reading experience preferred, but not required

+ Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience

+ Excellent organization skills in a fast-paced environment

+ Project management skills including planning and coordinating tasks

+ Authorized to work in the United States

+ Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

+ **_Candidates within an hour commute of Asheville, NC will be given priority_**

+ **_Candidates with Rtasq Software experience highly desirable_**

$60-70k Annually, Depending on Experience
