    Overview

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, preferably within the U.S. Air Force. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proven expertise in Power BI. This position requires the candidate to work onsite at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role will play a key part in delivering data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making within a defense-focused environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, performance indicators, and actionable insights.

    + Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Tableau and Microsoft Excel.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver clear, accurate, and timely reporting solutions.

    + Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant DoD standards and security protocols.

    + Support ad hoc analysis requests and contribute to the ongoing improvement of data workflows and reporting processes.

    Education/Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business-related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline) or equivalent relevant experience.

    + 4+ years of experience in a data analysis or data science role, with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and Tableau.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.

    + Proficiency in Tableau, including report development, dashboard creation, and data visualization.

    + Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

    + Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    + Active Secret Security Clearance is required

    Preferred qualifications include:

    + Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, with a strong preference for U.S. Air Force environments.

    + Proficiency with Power BI, including report development, DAX, and data modeling.
