Quality Assurance Engineering - Advisor I
What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer – Advisor I do at Fiserv?
You will be a part of a team that is building the Merchants Onboarding & Client Implementations platforms. You will develop automation test scripts for end-to-end testing of payment APIs and UI applications using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Rest Assured.
You will perform manual and automated regression testing to ensure software quality as well as analyze new enhancement requests and prepare functional and non-functional test scenarios.
Built to deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations, these platforms are used to onboard, configure and enable merchants across all acquisition channels and market segments for the Fiserv Merchants Solutions business. With multiple use-case specific UI flavors, as well as developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and integrations with dozens of internal systems of record for payment products, settlement platforms and payment gateways, these platforms provide a low-friction onboarding journey for merchants to avail of Fiserv industry-leading payment processing and value-added products and services.
What you will do:
+ Develop performance test plans and execute them to identify problem areas in this highly scalable application
+ Perform testing activities such as planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting tasks
+ Monitor and execute automation test activities
+ Demonstrate a firm understanding of QA processes within Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
+ Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes
+ Create and maintain automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and easy to maintain
+ Enhance existing automation frameworks to adapt to new requirements and ensure continuous improvement
What you will need to have:
+ 10+ years of hands-on UI Automation testing experience using Selenium, Cucumber, or WebdriverIO
+ 1 year of experience with Fiserv platforms
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
+ Experience in payments or FinTech domain
+ Experience building an automation framework from scratch
+ API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
+ Experience coding in Java or JavaScript, and writing complex SQL queries
+ Experience with TestNG or Cucumber
