Position Summary;
The Information Technology & Security Business Partner Director is responsible for overall coordination of business need and service delivery fulfillment to BAE Systems Electronic Systems (ES) sector, leading and directing a staff of Business Partners/Analysts that serve directly on the ES Business Area and Functional Area leadership teams. Through strong engagement and representation on ES leadership teams, the IT & Security Business Partner Director and Business Partners develop and oversee IT and Security strategic plans, projects, budgets, and service delivery support to achieve sector integrated business plans. As an IT & Security senior leadership team member, this individual is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships across stakeholder organizations to deliver timely solutions and efficient services to meet explicit and implicit needs of the business. Qualified candidates should have strong and balanced competencies in leadership, business acumen, IT and Security service delivery, technology advancement, collaboration, communications, and building high-performing teams.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Serves as a senior leadership team member within the ES IT & Security Organization, in all areas across IT and Security as well as ensuring a strategic partnership with facilities, specifically representing the voice of the BA customer in these areas
+ Advances IT & Security functional strategies and organizational capabilities to meet ES sector needs
+ As an IT & Security LT member, collaborates in development and execution of functional Strategies, Objectives, and Operating Plans
+ Manages and supervises a staff of 20 Business Partners/Analysts that serve on ES sector Business Area (BA) and Functional Area (FA) leadership teams
+ Leads overall training, staff development, and talent management of Business Partners/Analysts
+ Understands broader, sector level view of business strategy and plans and provides leadership direction and support to Business Partners / Analysts
+ Ensures Business Partners integrate long term strategic considerations and planning for classified integration into business areas
+ Leads direct reports in developing requirements and achieving BA and FA Objectives and Plans
+ Integrates BA and FA strategic plans in forming ES sector level IT & Security strategic plans
+ Engages sector and enterprise stakeholders to ensure alignment, commitment, and mutual accountability to outcomes
+ Provides escalation path for critical support needs identified by Business Partners, engaging with leaders in the IT & Security and ESS to define priorities and resolution paths
+ In collaboration with the IT & Security Deputy, establishes regular leadership alignment cadence with BA Deputy VPGMs and FA Deputy VPs with a focus on understanding business need and on boarding feedback relative to IT & Security delivery and performance
+ Ensures accurate representation and integration of functional stakeholders to major IT & Security projects
+ Assures Service Delivery to the BA or FA through strong partnerships, communications, commitment, and mutual accountability with IT service centers, and security directorates
+ Identifies IT & Security functional challenges and champions continuous improvement initiatives
+ Promotes and achieves cyber security compliance without significant impact to business operations
+ Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and forms recommendations for implementing new/upgraded systems, technologies and/or processes in the IT and or Security domains ensuring compliance and modernized capabilities are deployed
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Active Secret Clearance, Bachelor's degree and 15 or more years of relevant experience related to the position
+ Ability to inspire, lead, and develop a large and geographically dispersed team
+ Ability to work across multiple functions / organizations and build trusted working relationships
+ Business acumen and leadership experience in support of business operations
+ Track record of identifying, developing and implementing IT and Security system, people, and process improvements to improve business performance
+ Demonstrated record of leading and influencing internal and external (supplier) stakeholders
+ Broad knowledge and leadership experience in DoD classified security (physical/cyber/industrial) operations, processes, standards, tools, and capabilities
+ Acumen in operational planning, project management, business finance, and IT Service Delivery
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills ability to communicate effectively at leadership levels with a focus on delivering value and business outcomes
+ Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations
+ Understanding of ICD 705, TEMPEST, and classified facility policy and procedure associated with NISPOM, SAP and SCI facilities
+ Understanding of DoD Security (physical/cyber/industrial) principles and integration; both classified and unclassified
+ Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements in order to support the development of technical solutions
+ Program/Project Management and oversight
+ Ability to carry out data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovation
+ Industry Specific standard certifications, i.e. Security , DoD Security certifications, and ITIL Foundations.
+ Masters Degree and Top Secret Clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169630 - $288370
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
