    CTG is assisting a client in Atlanta, GA in staffing a Print Production Floater for an ongoing contract role.

     

    **Location:** Atlanta, GA

    **Hours:** 8 am to 5 pm, M-F

    **Pay:** $20-$25/hr

     

    This position will support various clients in Atlanta. Less than 25% driving, Mileage is reimbursed. Valid Driver's license and no more than one moving violation in the past three years.

     

    There may be times on occasion that you will be asked to go to a different state.

     

    The exact states will depend on the specific needs of the job at any given time. However, travel is expected primarily to nearby states within the region, though the specific locations will be determined as the coverage needs arise.

     

    Cincinnati, Ohio, Alabama, Cleveland, Louisiana, Florida, etc.

     

    The travel exceeds 100 miles, Client will provide a car rental. Client will confirm vehicle availability for longer-distance trips. if overnight stay is required, client will pay for expenses.

     

    If the location is not drivable, airfare will be provided

     

    The client is looking for someone with good PC skills, great customer service and some print experience in a print shop or copy center (please make sure this experience is on your resume).

     

    Must be able to lift 50 lb unassisted.

    Essential Functions:

    + Possess skills and competencies to deliver intermediate contracted customer requirements (document assembly and finishing)

    + Perform routine tasks and activities as defined

    + Lift up to 50 pounds as needed

    + Serve as point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs

    + Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers)

    + Operate office/production equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner)

    + Apply asset tags to office equipment and update database

    + Track and coordinate the move, addition, or change of office equipment assets at customer sites

    + Clean and maintain office equipment as necessary

    + Process and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes; log for billing

    + Use a PC to process basic forms and update information

    + Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products

    + Collect and submit meter reads

    + Maintain and distribute supply inventory as required

    + Problem-solve issues related to production, delivery, and output

    + Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after each production run

    + Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other media for use in print or digital formats

    + Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues using PC applications

    + Operate high-volume printers and copiers

    + Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs

    + Track and store jobs for customer reuse, including file backups

    + Inspect files for issues such as fonts, image resolution, and registration

    + Index electronic materials to CD-ROM, disk, or tape for distribution

    + Integrate variable data files into print formats using provided templates

    + Convert files/documents using standard software

    + Perform basic operator maintenance on equipment

    + Maintain logs and reporting information for billing purposes

    + Conduct minimal training for customer end-users on equipment

    + May develop work processes or templates

    + May operate high-volume folding and inserting mail equipment

    Skills:

    + Functional PC knowledge (keyboard, mouse, navigation)

    + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Create spreadsheets

    + Use standard formulas

    + Sort, filter, and graph data

    + Import/export information

    + Embed files and move data between applications

    + Familiarity with Web, Internet Explorer, and Intranet

    + Ability to locate devices on a network (drives, files, printers)

    + Proficient in sending/receiving emails, data entry, saving files

    + Basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)

    + Professionalism and business maturity

    + For first responders: ability to maintain reports in Excel, web access, printer connectivity and configuration skills

    Experience:

    + Minimum of 1 year in a customer service environment

    Education:

    + Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Required: Post-high school technology training or equivalent work experience

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
